Useful utensils

This evening at dinner, Riley had a fight with the lasagna.  It was cut up in little pieces and ready to be picked up and enjoyed, but Riley decided to swipe his hand back and forth across the highchair, sending noodles and sauce flying just about everywhere.  Luckily, Addison was on clean up patrol so the floor was lasagna-free in no time.  At the end of the ordeal, Riley looked like an Indian with war paint all over his face.

Using utensils would make the process much easier, more efficient and and a hell of a lot cleaner, but I think we still need some time to practice:

Ya know what? I think that he takes after me! I frequently, in the middle of a meal (especially Lasagna) feel the urge to dump the noodles out onto the table and play "finger paint" with the sauce! I admire him for the "free spiritedness" to actually do that! On his inspiration, I think that the next time I have lasagna, I'll follow through on my impulses and dramatically sweep the noodles to the floor (we may have to borrow Addison for clean-up!).
